Understanding Credit Usage

This guide explains everything you need to know about credits in our system - from how they're calculated and consumed to how they're replenished and managed.

What are Credits?​

Credits serve as the primary currency within our platform, used to execute workflows. Every time you run a workflow in the playground, it consumes a specific number of credits based on the components utilized within that workflow.

Credit Calculation​

Each component in your workflow has an associated credit cost. When you execute a workflow:

  • The system calculates the total cost by summing up the credit costs of all components
  • You can view individual component costs in real-time during execution
  • The execution time for each component is also displayed

Specific Component Costs​

Components have varying credit costs depending on their functionality:

  • Each component displays its credit cost in its documentation
  • Some examples of how costs are calculated:
    • LLM components: Cost varies based on the selected model
    • Image generation: Fixed cost per image, based on the selected model
    • Data processing: Cost often depends on data volume
    • Utility components: Many are free to use

You can get an idea of the total credit cost before running any workflow by checking the component costs in the workflow editor. Although generally the best way to get an accurate estimate is to run the workflow and see the cost breakdown.

Credit Replenishment​

Credits are tied to your account and automatically replenish according to your subscription plan:

  • Free Plan

    • 20.000 credits
    • Replenishes every 3 days
    • Available by default to all users

  • Paid Plans

    • Various credit allocations
    • Different replenishment rates
    • Multiple pricing tiers available

Monitoring Your Credits​

You can easily track your credit usage and replenishment schedule through the dashboard:
